It has been consistently used for healing and protecting both scalp and hair. In particular, it has always been known for disinfecting the scalp and healing breakage-prone hair. It is important to note that Karkar Oil is NOT vegan.

How many uses are there for Karkar Oil?
Apart from the fact that Karkar Oil can be useful both for scalp and hair, there are two key methods to using it. One is to use it just before a leave-in conditioner, following the how-to instructions above, in which case it works great from wash to wash. The other way to use it as a hot oil treatment - in which case you can prolong and strengthen its effect. For this method, you need to heat up 3-6 spoons of Karkar Oil in a microwave for 10 seconds and apply it on damp, sectioned hair and leave it in for no longer than 30-40 minutes.

This karkar oil though…holy grail. My scalp was itching something kind of terrible and my hair was a little dry as well. I have plaits in my hair currently. I applied the karkar oil to my scalp and inside my plaits. Let’s just say itch be gone and my hair feels amazing. My hair is 4C low porosity so it is hard to get oil to stay in my hair without applying heat. This oil does not require heat for it to stay in my hair. The scent is not bad or over bearing. Would I buy this one again? You know it! I have it saved in my favorites.
I will give an update on how it feels in my hair when I use it. I also love how sturdy the bottle topper is. So far it’s a 10/10 on product presentation thank you 🙏🏾 UPDATE: been almost a week since I've used it in my hair, its been SO GOOD my 4z hair type is finally steady moisturized AMEN! <3 will absolutely be purchasing more from this store very soon much love!
